Write your own resume
Don’t copy paste your resume to make it look impressive, especially the career objectives. Most of the times, they don’t even make sense. Write down what you really want to achieve in your career. Have a senior or a mentor take a look at it and hone it.
Your resume doesn’t have to be a wordy document mentioning every responsibility you bore as the head of the debating society.

Don’t learn your answers by rote. Ensure that you have the same amount of energy in your voice every time you introduce yourself. Pour passion into your future plans no matter how many times you’ve explained them before. And you will be able to do that effortlessly if you really mean it.
Do your research
In today’s tech savvy world, it reflects well on you to look up the company you interview for. This will also help you connect your career goals with that of the company’s future goals. You’ll be able to bring in some worldly wisdom into your answers through your awareness of the real world.
This will also come in handy when the interviewer asks you if you have any questions for them. You can show your knowledge and research about the company.
Placement interviews are a great opportunity to get a head start in your career. Make sure that you are prepared well and can ace any kind of interview you find yourself in.
