Dr. Anoop Mathew is a writer, Educationalist, and Technologist working on Better Implementation of Corporate Funds to Minimize the Digital Divide especially among the educational institutions in rural India. He is keen to popularize and promote science to the common public and students.

He was a Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and has received his doctoral degree in Power Electronics. 

He has trained more than 500 teachers on Engineering Pedagogy and Digital Transformation. He guided nearly 60 PG projects and 40 UG projects. He dealt with teaching engineering to approximately 1500 students in his teaching career.

Now working closely with organizations provide Free and Open-Source alternatives to proprietary software.
He is the recipient of the “Best Engineering Faculty Award-2012” and the Best Application Paper Award in PowerCon-2010 for the paper – SMPS based on Matrix Converter with a reduced number of Switches.

He authored 9 books on various topics in Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Sciences.

Anoop Mathew is an editorial board member of “International Journal of Computer and Electrical Technology” and has published more than 10 research papers in leading international journals and 3 papers in Technical Conferences. He has delivered a few invited talks on Matrix Converters and Switched Mode Power Converters in various engineering colleges in India.

He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Energy Conservation Society (ECS), Computer Society of India (CSI), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT), International Association of Engineers (IAENG) and life member of Conservation Society (ECS) and International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT). He organized a few national-level workshops and seminars.
