Mr Jayant Sinha is the Principal Consultant (Energy & Utilities) serving the Energy and Power sector for over 34 years, holding important positions in both public and private sector such as NTPC (Rihand, Dadri and Auraiya), Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd and Enzen Global Solutions, United Kingdom. He has served in both Power Generation and Distribution functions handling Technical Services, EED, Maintenance Planning, Operations & Efficiency, and O&M. He was responsible for the implementation of the national R-APDRP (Restructured Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Program) for power utility efficiency improvements in the states of Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and Punjab. He was a member of the erstwhile Indian Smart Grid Task Force (ISGTF), and contributed in the working groups for Substation automation, SCADA/ PLC, Enterprise Asset/ Maintenance Management, DR/ DSM, Utility GIS and Energy Efficiency improvement.   

Mr Sinha has worked on mission-critical national and international projects on innovative technologies in energy and power reforms in India, UK, Spain and Middle East, aimed to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprint in power systems, using clean and sustainable energy technologies. He is an Accredited Management Teacher in Information Technology and an Energy Sustainability professional, certified by the University of Cambridge, UK.

He has published over 30 papers and delivered lectures in India and abroad in reputed forums in the areas of Energy management, Energy markets, Power systems asset analytics, Power Distribution automation, IoT in Power, Smart Grids, Clean technologies and AI/ ML.
