Dr. Prakash Bagri is currently professor of marketing strategy & innovation at the Indian School of Business. He is also Founder and CEO of PRB Partners, a boutique consulting firm driving strategic transformation for companies. He has also been engaged as adjunct faculty at the Indian Institutes of Management in Ahmedabad, Bangalore & Calcutta. Prakash’s interests cover business strategy, innovation & hi-tech, digital transformation, business model design, and building partnerships & ecosystems.
Prakash has over three decades of experience bridging industry and academia. During his long corporate stint, which includes senior leadership positions in Unilever and Intel, Prakash built a billion-dollar business, established three new product categories, divested two businesses, managed eight different distribution systems and nurtured & launched twelve different brands. Prakash is credited with leading major industry-shaping initiatives to broaden technology enablement and its impact in India.
Prakash has provided senior-level guidance and intervention (including running Board & Leadership off-sites) to multiple organizations. His recent consulting and leadership advisory engagements have included - The Indian Hotels Company Ltd., Adani Group, Reliance Industries, Thales, Boeing, KPMG, Accenture, Deloitte, Fidelity, Vivo, Tata Consultancy Services, DFM Foods, Barclays, HDFC Life, BPCL Ltd., Shalina Healthcare, Amara Raja Group, Novozymes A/S, MTR Foods, Divyashree Group, Robert Bosch India, Cipla, Merck, Glenmark, Royal-Enfield, JSW Group, Quislex amongst others.
Prakash is a recipient of the prestigious Intel Achievement Award (2005). He was featured as “Brand Boss” in The Economic Times (2009) and recognized by the World Brand Congress with the Outstanding Marketing Professional Award (2009). He also held the position of Chairman, CMO Council Asia (South Chapter) during 2010-11.
Prakash graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and did his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He received his doctorate from Singapore Management University.
