The expert is a senior management professional at The Startup Buddy, an organisation providing resources and knowledge to entrepreneurs and innovators. He equips entrepreneurs with guided tools, mentors and resources to create a viable business out of any idea. He helps organizations leverage data, scale programs and nurture innovation across departments and geographies. He started his first enterprise at the age of 12 as a self-employed street musician. By the time he turned 17, he bought his first stocks at the Amsterdam Stock Exchange and at the age of 25, he did his first angel investment. He has worked over a decade in small start-ups as well as large corporates. He started his adventure as an entrepreneur after participating in start-up Weekend Singapore and winning the 3rd prize with his pitch for an online financial planner. Prior to this, he has worked at managerial positions with ING, DGG, DCE Consultants, Accenture etc. He holds a master's degree in public policy and public administration from University of Twente.
