Sudha Menon is a former journalist and the author of five popular non-fiction books including Feisty at Fifty; Legacy; Gifted; and Devi, Diva or She Devil. A passionate writer, she is the founder of the writing workshop series Get Writing, which gives wings to the writing aspirations of people. She is also the founder of Writing with Women, a writing workshop that gets women from diverse backgrounds together to share their experiences and write down their stories. She is also the brain behind Telling Our Stories, a project where she helps Pune's senior citizens, many of who have witnessed and even participated in the freedom struggle, to write their stories. She has been a speaker on the prestigious TEDx, TiECon, CII, and FICCI FLO platforms and is invited to speak on gender, diversity, and women's leadership at corporate campuses and educational institutes. The expert worked for 23 years as a journalist with reputed publications including The Independent from the Times group, The Hindu Business Line from the Hindu group, and Mint, the business daily from HT Media in collaboration with Wall Street Journal before she decided to follow her long-cherished dream of turning author. She led an independent news bureau in Pune for both The Hindu Business Line and Mint before turning full-time author and columnist in 2009. She is currently writing her 6th and 7th non-fiction books simultaneously.

As a motivational speaker, she brings to the table her consolidated experience working closely with some of the most admired and accomplished men and women from different walks in our country. Her works are largely based around her interactions with these people and since she has had a ringside view of how they conduct their lives and careers, her talks help people manage their own expectations and goals for their life.
