With close to 3 decades in the area of Management Consulting, Taranjeet Singh is highly knowledgeable and recognized in Business and Organizational Transformation, performance improvement, value creation and realization and employee engagement exercises. He has had senior leadership experiences not only in Malaysia, Asia Pacific but in Central Asia as well.

Taranjeet commenced his career in the then Price Waterhouse in the Corporate Finance and Restructuring Practice. He then took on the lead role in Talent Management within South East Asia in the then Hewitt Associates. He was also intimately involved in the Best Employers Studies that took place across APAC. Working out of Thailand, Taranjeet had oversight of 6 other South East Asian countries as well. Then in 2009 Taranjeet was invited to joined Hay Group, where he managed the Building Effective Organisations practice for the country. He was also involved in and led the annual World’s Most Admired Companies Study that HayGroup conducted in conjunction with Forbes magazine. During his time in HayGroup Malaysia, Taranjeet was privileged to be intimately involved in the 2009 M-KPI engagement with the Cabinet of the Government of Malaysia, with the Public Service Department as they evaluated and developed senior civil servants, with one of the largest Banking Group in Malaysia as they reviewed their manning levels, with the Sovereign Wealth Fund for the GLC Transformation Program with the various companies in their stable, and the global restructuring of the National Aviation Carrier as some examples of his work.

In 2016 Taranjeet relocated to Astana, Kazakhstan where he took on the role of MD for Korn Ferry Hay Group Kazakhstan with an oversight of the Central Asia. During the course of his stay in Kazakhstan, he led notable engagements with the Prime Minister’s Office vis-à-vis the reframing of several Ministries and the transformative work they were involved in as part of the 2030 Modernization Plans for the Nation. He also played a significant role in the transformation of the Civil Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of a UNDP Engagement. To this end, there was a critical focus on the complexity of roles and work measures within the Service.

Presently Taranjeet the CEO of Quantum Steppe Advisory, a boutique Management Consulting Firm with a focus on Human Capital Management. QSA has a regional footprint within SEA.

His clients have ranged from Governments, Sovereign Wealth Funds, PE firms, Government Linked Companies and Financial Institutions to global MNCs and SMEs to name a few. His work how ranges from supporting organisations in their valuation / journey, Executive Coaching of Senior Leadership Team to lift not only their game but also of others under their charge, bank restructuring and the assessment of Talent as part of a fit for role exploration as well as the institutionalization of a values driven high performing work culture across a global MNC.

Taranjeet is on the rolls as a credentialled member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia and has recently obtained the highest accolade possible within the coaching world and that is being a globally recognized Master Credentialled Coach (MCC) with International Coaching Federation, US. Hes a Professor of Practice with Saito University Malaysia, an active member of the Advisory Council of the Graduate School of Entrepreneurship & Business, University Malaysia Kelantan and a member of the Trustee Board of Esil University, in Astana Kazakhstan.

He is a Chartered Companion of the Chartered Management Institute UK and is presently the Chair of the Regional Board of CMI Malaysia.
