Mark Farid is an Artist, Researcher, and Lecturer in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. His work explores how digital infrastructures shape identity, privacy, and societal structures, focusing on surveillance, corporate ethics, and the evolving relationship between the virtual and physical world. His projects critically examine social, legal, and political systems, advocating for transparency and data protection.

Farid has exhibited and lectured internationally, including France, Germany, Spain, Finland, Japan, and the UAE. He gave a TEDx talk in 2017 on his projects Data Shadow (2015) and Poisonous Antidote (2016) and was a Sundance Institute New Frontier Fellow (2016). His VR project Seeing I was exhibited at Ars Electronica (2019) and supported by the EU Creative Cultures Programme (2020). In 2022-24, his project Invisible Voice received Horizon Europe funding and presented at the Pompidou Centre. Farid regularly appears in media, including BBC, Sky News, and The Guardian.
