Chief Strategy Officer at the Higher Colleges of Technology with over 20 years of Government, Higher Education, and Business & Technology executive and consulting experience. Successfully led the delivery of complex transformational programs and change initiatives portfolios. A member of two UAE National Agenda Executive Boards overseeing international accreditation and graduation rates of the UAE Higher Education Sector.

Prior to joining HCT, served as a Senior Strategy and Performance Adviser for the Abu Dhabi Municipal System and was the Director of the Corporate Strategy Office at Al Dhafra Municipality since 2008. Also served for four consecutive years on the National Board of Directors of the American Association for Strategic Planning and at present, a member of the association?s Global Strategy Advisory Council. Was the association elected Vice President and member of their executive committee for 2016/17. During his tenure at the association, he received Janice Lauren Outstanding Service Award for two consecutive years.

Co-chaired the World Strategy Summit held in Abu Dhabi in 2015 and serves as the current Chairman of the Global Richard Goodman Strategic Planning Award. He holds professional credentials in Strategic Management, Future Foresight, Project Management, Change Management, Balanced Scorecard, and Organizational Excellence. He has a PhD in business forecasting, a Master in business administration, and a Master in software engineering from Auburn University, USA.
