Eileyn Chua is not a normal inspirational speaker; she is also a burn survivor. On 15/04/2016, her life changed forever when a gas explosion happened at her home, causing her to suffer from 80% burns on her body. She nearly died that night and was in coma for two and a half months. Eileyn shares from her own painful and difficult journey in overcoming the odds, and you can be assured that her sharing would not be theoretical in nature. As a result of her experience, Eileyn believes in the importance of second chances in life and advocates for the establishment of a burn survivor support group in Malaysia. In November 2025, she published her memoir 'When An Explosion Knocks You Down'. She has been invited to share her story on various online and offline platforms.
