Dr. Ammar Raza is a physician specializing in Clinical Diabetology and Endocrinology, with over 25 years of experience in healthcare and the biopharmaceutical industry across emerging markets. An alumnus of IIM Bangalore, he is a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology (ACCP, USA) and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine, Royal College of Physicians (RCP, UK). He has practiced clinical diabetology in India and Libya and has over 20 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development, and pharmacovigilance at global pharma majors, including AstraZeneca, Novo Nordisk, Novartis, Allergan, and AbbVie. Currently, he serves as the AA Regional Medical Director – MEA & Thailand at AbbVie, Dubai.
