Earlier he handled a Profit Center Management/ Strategic Marketing/ Distribution  Role in Bharti Airtel Limited, in a Large Metro Market having a revenue of 150 BN INR( 2.25 Mn USD) annually. He continued in this role in a different geography since August 2012 having 100 BN INR(1.5  Mn USD) revenue annually. He took care of the Incremental share of customer and revenue market share for the firm, He handled Prepaid and Postpaid (Contract) Mobility, M-Commerce, Direct to Home TV, Telemedia and Fixed Line.  He was the Head of Acquisition at Bharti Airtel since April 2010 to August 2012. He was responsible for maintaining the Firm''s Share of Gross and Net acquisition, maintaining quality of acquisitions, and  new acquisition RMS and CMS in the market. Prior to Airtel, Mr. Majumdar served as a Head Product Management at Vodafone Essar and was responsible for Vodafone Essar Kolkata, ROB and Orissa circle which included Prepaid and Postpaid Acquisition, Revenue management. Prior to this, he served as Head of VAS and Roaming Services at Vodafone for Kolkata and ROB Circle. Mr. Majumdar has 13 years of experience in Telecom - Acquisitions, Usage enhancement and Revenue Management, Mobile VAS, NPD, Data and Devices.

 He is also well versed with Enterprise Telecom Solution like, PRI, EPABX, ILP, MPLS, Enterprise All types Voice and data Products.
