Ofentse Pitse is a South African conductor, creative visionary, and founder of Anchored Sound, known for redefining orchestral music through inclusivity, innovation, and cultural expression. Born in Pretoria, her musical journey was shaped by her family’s deep-rooted heritage in The Salvation Army and inspired by her grandfather, a renowned jazz trumpeter. Beginning with the trumpet at age twelve, she developed her craft through church bands, orchestras, and choirs, eventually creating a platform for young, classically trained, underrepresented musicians.
