Dr Shashikant Sharma is a young achiever, a strong proponent of survival attitude, having an Internal Locus of Control, High Self-Esteem and a strong need for Achievement, Affiliation and Power. He is a firm believer of trust and likes to implement Emotional Intelligence in personal & professional life. He is an inclusive leader with an intent to create a network of leaders around him.

His key areas of Interests are Business Management, Health Care Efficiency, Health Care Economics, Health Technology Assessment, Health Insurance & Case Based Payment Systems. This year the young officer has been nominated by National Health Authority of India for heading & providing stewardship to the flag ship pgme of the Prime Minister i.e. Ayushman Bharat- National Health Protection Mission, which included designing of Health Care programmes for the nation in the year 2020.

He is presently honing young minds at Dept of Hospital Administration, Armed forces Medical College, to take up leadership positions at Health Care Organisations. As an instructor, coach & mentor, he has excellent content delivery skills with an engaging style and explaining the concepts in an applicable way. Apart from his engagement with medicine and Health Care Governance, he is also a university level Squash Player, a State Level Calligraphist and a Glacier Hiker. He is an enthusiastic proponent of survival attitude, resilience and hope.
