Aditya Ghosh, Co-founder of Akasa Air, ex-President and Board Member of IndiGo, and a member of the FabIndia Board, possesses the Midas touch. The man who chose OYO over Tata Sons, Aditya is the new face of India’s affordable-hospitality sector. A Board Member of OYO South Asia, he transitioned in 2018 from the aviation giant IndiGo to the unicorn OYO.

Aditya began his career in 1996 as a corporate law executive giving legal counsel to InterGlobe, GSK Beecham, PepsiCo, and the World Bank. He soon joined InterGlobe Enterprises, which runs IndiGo, as its general counsel. By 2008, he was the President and a Board Member of the airline. As President, Aditya headed all operations and management of IndiGo. He was also a member of the Executive Committee of InterGlobe Enterprises at the Group Level and sat on the Hotels and Technology businesses’ board. His areas of expertise are consumer experience and financial sustainability.

Touted as one of India's Hottest Young Executive by the Business Today magazine in 2011, Mr. Ghosh's success has been widely recognized. Some of the accolades he has received:  GQ Businessman of the Year award 2013; Nomination for the CNN-IBN Indian of The Year - Business category; CEO of the Year by SABRE; Also the Low-Cost Leadership award at the World Airline Awards in 2011.
