As an industry veteran, Anurag has spent more than 25 years in Online Commerce, Payments, Banking & Technology helping various organizations develop new market opportunities and businesses in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to launching Shopmatic, Anurag held senior roles at companies like Standard Chartered Bank, NCR Corporation, MasterCard and was most recently Senior Director for Merchant Sales, Strategy, and Operations at PayPal Asia-Pacific, where he met the other co-founders of Shopmatic. Shopmatic has over 270,000 customers across 13 Emerging Markets - India, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and UAE. Shopmatic also has white label partnerships with SingTel, Network International- a leading payment solutions provider in the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region and a strategic partnership with HDFC Bank in India. Anurag has played Grade Level Cricket in his youth and currently volunteers at the Singtel Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 as a National Steward for Support Races.
