Raman Sidhu is one of the 4 life-time trustees of the Foundation for Aviation & Sustainable Tourism (FAST) and Member of FICCI- National Executive Committee. He is also the senior management professional of the Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI). Besides, he is a member of World President?s Organization (WPO) Delhi Chapter and on the board of WPO?s South Asia Regional Council. Furthermore, he was on the boards of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., National Hydro-Electric Power Corporation (NHPC), India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL), Deutsche Post Bank Home Finance Ltd and Accord India (International search partnership). Raman was also one of 5 members of the Ministries of Finance & Corporate Affairs Core Group set up to establish Corporate Governance norms for all International FII?s (Banks, Insurance companies, Mutual funds etc.) operating in India. Mr Sidhu also served as board member of HSBC Securities & Capital Markets (India) Pvt. Ltd, Fidelity Fund Management & Barclays Bank PLC and Grindlays Bank. He was an adviser of Commonwealth Secretariat, London to the Minister of Industries, Government of Trinidad and Tobago.
