Vishal is a seasoned media executive with an extensive experience across Asia-Pacific. Currently he is the Chief Commercial Officer at HOOQ with full commercial and operational responsibility for the business across the region, including leading Partnerships, Business Strategy and Customer Service. Vishal joined HOOQ after nine years with Turner where in his last role he was General Manager of the Southeast Asia business. In his capacity he led several first's for Turner (Turner Broadcasting System, Inc), including launching the Cartoon Network Watch and Play app and establishing telco partnerships for Turner's networks across the regions, establishing a JV in Thailand for what is now a TOP 5 free to air network, leading Turner’s foray in Korean entertainment and an investment in Vietnam’s largest digital content creator and publisher. In addition to being a seasoned media executive Vishal is a fintech, health, wellness and food tech geek and holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School.
